Terms you can actually read
Effective August 17, 2026 (version 2026-08-17)
This is the agreement between you and Baddies Only Club. We wrote it in plain English on purpose: what we actually do for you, what you're agreeing to when you connect a gym account, and where the responsibility sits when something goes wrong.
The short version
- We only act on your instruction. Baddie books, waitlists, cancels, moves your spot, or checks you in only when you ask directly or when an automation you configured yourself does it for you. Nothing happens on your account that you didn't set up.
- Fees are your gym's, not ours. Late cancel and no show fees are charged by your studio. Fee Guard tries to protect you from them, but it's a best effort safety net, not a guarantee.
- We can't promise a spot. Booking windows, capacity, and your gym's own systems are outside our control.
- We're not your gym. Baddies Only Club is independent. We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any gym or booking platform we connect to.
What Baddies Only does
Baddies Only Club is a booking assistant for boutique fitness studios. Once you connect a gym account, you can ask Baddie, our in-app assistant, to book a class, join a waitlist, cancel a reservation, move to a different spot, or check you in. You can also set up standing instructions, called intents, that do the same thing automatically at a future release time, for example "book me into every 6am Vinyasa on Tuesdays."
Every one of those actions traces back to something you asked for directly, in the moment, or configured in advance through an intent you built and can turn off at any time. We never book, cancel, or otherwise act on your gym account on our own initiative, outside of something you told the app to do.
Connecting your gym account
To do any of that, we need to sign in to your gym's booking system on your behalf. When you connect a gym account, you're authorizing us to:
- Exchange your gym login for an access token, the same kind your gym's own app uses, and store that token, encrypted, so we can act on your behalf without asking for your password again.
- Use that token to book, cancel, waitlist, move, and check in for classes, exactly as described above, and only in response to something you asked for or configured.
- Read your schedule, your credits, your membership details, and similar account information from your gym, so the assistant can tell you what's actually true about your account instead of guessing.
You can revoke this at any time by disconnecting the gym account in your profile, or by changing your password with your gym directly, which invalidates the token on their end.
Fees are between you and your gym
Late cancellation fees, no show fees, and any other penalty are set and collected by your gym, not by us. We built Fee Guard specifically to help you avoid getting hit with one. It watches your bookings and nudges or acts to protect you when a fee is at risk, but it is a best effort safety net, not a guarantee. If a fee is charged, whether because a cancellation happened outside a free window, because Fee Guard didn't catch it in time, or for any other reason your gym's policy allows, that charge is yours, not ours.
We can't guarantee a spot
Booking a popular class the instant a release window opens is, by nature, not a sure thing. Capacity is limited, release windows are set by your gym, and your gym's own systems can be slow, down, or behave unexpectedly at exactly the moment it matters. We do everything reasonable to get you a spot the second one becomes available, but we cannot and do not promise that any specific booking will succeed.
We're not your gym
Baddies Only Club is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by any gym, studio, or booking platform we connect to. Nothing here changes your relationship with your gym: they set their own prices, their own class schedules, their own cancellation windows, and their own rules, none of which we control.
Your gym's terms still apply
Connecting your account here doesn't replace or override the membership agreement, waiver, or terms of service you already have with your gym. You're still responsible for following their rules, including anything about attendance, guest policies, and payment, and they can still take action on your membership independently of anything that happens in this app.
What we store, and why
- Your gym credentials and access tokens, so we can act on your account. Your password is never stored; the access token is encrypted at rest.
- Your account and sign-in information through Clerk, our authentication provider, which handles your login, session, and basic profile details.
- Messages you send to Baddie, our in-app assistant, which are processed by a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Avoid pasting anything into chat you wouldn't want processed by an AI system.
- Push notification subscriptions, if you turn on notifications, so we can tell your device about a class opening up, a waitlist move, or something time-sensitive.
- Referral information (who invited you, and who you've invited), if you use the referral program.
We keep this data to run the service for you. We don't sell it.
Using Baddies Only responsibly
Use the service for its actual purpose: booking and managing your own fitness classes. Don't:
- Share your account, or use someone else's gym credentials without their permission.
- Try to interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer the service or the systems it connects to.
- Use the service to violate your gym's own terms, for example by booking spots you don't intend to use, outside of a genuine shared-membership situation.
- Use the assistant's chat to try to extract, abuse, or misuse the underlying AI system.
We can suspend or terminate access for a clear violation of the above.
Ending your account
You can stop using Baddies Only Club and disconnect your gym account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or if we're required to by law. If we end your account for a reason other than your own request, we'll try to tell you why. Ending your account stops any standing instructions from running and removes our access to your gym account, but it doesn't undo anything your gym itself already did, a booking, a fee, a cancellation, before that point.
Liability, in plain terms
We work hard to make Baddies Only Club reliable, but it's still software talking to another company's systems, and things can go wrong on either side. To the extent the law allows, Baddies Only Club is provided "as is," without a guarantee that it will always work perfectly, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses connected to using it, things like a missed class, a fee your gym charged, or a booking that didn't go through. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've actually paid us in the past twelve months, which, while the app is free, is zero.
Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for our own gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
If your use of the service causes a problem
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the service, for example because you violated your gym's terms, misused someone else's account, or broke the acceptable use rules above, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that causes us, including legal fees. This doesn't apply to problems caused by our own mistakes.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page when the service changes in a way that affects what's written here. Small clarifications don't require anything from you. When we make a change we consider material, meaning it actually changes what you're agreeing to, we'll ask you to accept the new version the next time it matters, for example the next time you connect or reconnect a gym account. The current version and its effective date are always at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict of law rules.
